ServiceNow Integration
Zeaware Monitor for Power BI now supports direct integration with one of the leading service management tools, ServiceNow. With Zeaware Monitor you can now raise Power BI issues directly into ServiceNow as incidents, which can then be escalated through ServiceNow workflows.
To enable this feature:
- Ensure you have deployed the latest release of Zeaware Monitor.
- Have your ServiceNow administrator create a user for Zeaware Monitor integration.
- Add the users details to the Azure KeyVault.
- Update the Configuration File to add mappings for your required and option ServiceNow field mappings.
Mappings
Zeaware Monitor configuration allows you to define mappings that will automatically populate fields in ServiceNow via the API integration. Default mappings include:
- Category
- Subcategory
- Service
- Origin
- Short Description
- Description
- Correlation Id
- Correlation Display
Additional mappings can be defined via Zeaware Monitor configuration.
Users of Zeaware Monitor for Power BI should apply the latest release to take advantage of this feature.
